Promoting and publishing religious sciences and making them compatible with current requirements has been the basic need of every era. Still, the need for it has increased even more in modern times. The only solution to the multifarious growing problems, intellectual confusion, practical apathy, moral turpitude, religious and group prejudices, and intolerance is nothing but to equip our future generations with good education and training. There is a need for comprehensive and effective educational institutions where religious and contemporary studies are organized simultaneously and a strong training system. Its importance increases even more in backward areas because people who cannot meet the basic needs of their lives, where can they spend on good education and training of their children!

Many of your friends know that I belong to the city of “Alipur” in South Punjab, whose name is related to the chapter of Madinatul Alam, Hazrat Maulay Kainat Ali Al Murtaza, Karamullah Rabiyyah Al Kareem. I had a desire in my heart for a long time to establish such an educational project in my area where I could play a humble role in fulfilling the duty of serving the religion and promoting and spreading knowledge according to contemporary requirements.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Madzilla-ul-Aali and what I have learned as a result of my humble service on the platform of Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International in Pakistan and around the world, I will try to serve the people of the region by making it a practical reality in my native region. . With the grace and grace of Allah Ta’ala and His Beloved, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that dream is now being fulfilled. Alhamdulillah, this humble person has taken 50 kanals of land in Alipur. 20 Kanals have been dedicated for this project, which can be expanded as per requirement. It is planned to establish this project under the name of “Al-Azan Educational Complex” which a professional team will manage. Initially, the intention was to establish “Al-Azan School of Islamic Sciences.” Later, when the resources become available, it would be given the status of a college and a university.

It should be clear that: Alipur. Geographically, the confluence of five rivers is located at a distance of ten kilometers from Panjand, almost equidistant from the divisional headquarters of three divisions of South Punjab, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and Bahawalpur. In other words, we can say that this city is a confluence of these three divisions. The total population of these three divisions is about three and a half crore. In contrast, the literacy rate of Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur divisions is 48%, and the literacy rate of Multan division is 60%, which means that almost half of the total population is illiterate. Similarly, according to a survey, there is not a single institution of this kind in the surrounding area for a distance of about 70 to 80 km, which simultaneously organizes religious and contemporary education for male and female students. There are only schools and colleges imparting modern education or a few religious institutions that function in the traditional way on a limited scale. In this situation, an exemplary educational institution like Al-Azan is in dire need of entire South Punjab. In an area like South Punjab, the need for such an educational project increases even more. It not only equips these students with Quranic and religious studies and exposes them to the comprehensive concepts of religion but also increases their literacy rate to meet the current requirements. Harmonize too.
